Art therapists Emotional Reactions to the demands of Technology

Peterson , Stovall Elkins and Parker-Bell (2005) noted that “with the ever-increasing presence of DIT(digital imagery technology) and HIT (health technology), art therapists will need to educate themselves their colleagues, and their students about ethical applications and implications of technology.(p 146.) 

In a survey of 195 art therapists they found that one of the reason participants were not utilizing technology was its high cost (63% of the respondents.)…

In addition, 50% of the art therapist in theta Peterson et al. survey reported that they did not use technology because they were unfamiliar with the software or hardware.
